PAT Testing
Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) is the inspection of electrical items to ensure that they are fit for use. Not only do employers, institutions and landlords have a moral and economic duty to avoid harm and damage including electric shocks and fires - under the Electricity at Work Act (1989) there is a legal responsibility to ensure that portable electrical appliances are tested regularly and that worn or damaged items are identified and made safe.
At Infrasafe, safety is integral to everything we do and our PAT inspection team is trained to ensure all electrical problems, from damaged cables to exposed wires, are quickly identified and reported with all failed items clearly marked. We provide 24/7 flexibility and a detailed report and asset register on all items, in a format to suit you. From shops to factories and offices, we carry out work professionally and responsibly with minimum disruption to your business.
Infrasafe can also provide a range of health and safety training courses when visiting your premises to ensure compliance with your legal requirements.
