Fail to plan, plan to fail. It’s an old adage, but one that could have been invented for the railway. As more and more companies tender for work in the UK rail sector, all projects from graffiti removal to large track renewals require careful planning and preparation. All work on Network Rail infrastructure must be pre-planned in accordance with line standards. Infrasafe provides a full planning service to these standards. Our RIMINI planners are trained to Stage 1 and 2 competences and have the capability to input your worksites to ensure publication in the Weekly Operating Notice (WON). We also offer the full RIMINI Core Planning service for your worksites, ensuring all site paperwork is fully compliant. A well planned job will make efficient use of resources, be more cost-effective and ultimately ensure a safer environment.

As part of our planning service, we will:

• Arrange planning for T2 and T3 safe systems of work.
• Input T2, T3 and T4 worksite applications and T12 blockages to the Possession Planning System (PPS).
• Manage short notice applications and compile the required business case.
• Book engineering trains.
• Attend possession planning and PICOP meetings.
• Arrange site visits.
• Plan AC & DC Isolations.
• Produce detailed possession plans for our customers.
• Provide comprehensive track access / RIMINI packs for your safety critical staff.
• Provide Infrasafe supporting safety critical staff.
• Deliver full training for core planner skills.
