Infrasafe UK Ltd Appeals Policy

When carrying out training or assessment, Infrasafe UK Limited (Infrasafe) aims to help all candidates to achieve a successful outcome.

Part of the process requires our Trainers and Assessors to decide whether, or not, a candidate is competent, using their experience and information provided in written or verbal tests and assessments.

Infrasafe aims to treat all candidates fairly and consistently in assessing their competence.

In the rare event that a candidate feels they have been unfairly treated by the Trainer or Assessor, Infrasafe has an appeals procedure in place. This involves, initially, an appeal by the candidate to the Training Manager who will review all the evidence involved in the Trainer or Assessor’s decision.

In the event that the candidate remains unhappy with the decision then he or she can appeal directly to the Managing Director of Infrasafe. The Managing Director will independently review all the evidence and will, if necessary, interview the Trainer of Assessor involved before making a decision. The Managing Director’s decision is final.

This policy is displayed in our Training Centre and is also briefed by Assessors to candidates who are being given a workplace assessment. The policy will be reviewed at least annually or when circumstances require it.
