Infrasafe UK Ltd Bribery Policy

The Bribery Act came into force on 1st July 2011. Under section 7 of the Act, commercial organisations may commit an offence if they fail to prevent persons associated with them committing bribery on their behalf.

Corporate hospitality does not fall into this category as ‘the government does not intend for the Act to prohibit reasonable and proportionate hospitality and promotional or other similar business expenditure intended for these purposes’

Infrasafe has a culture where bribery is never acceptable. If a Director, Manager or other employee is found to have been involved in bribery, this will be treated as gross misconduct and subject to the Company’s disciplinary procedures.

The Board of Directors is responsible for Infrasafe’s anti-corruption policies, procedures and statements, including all education requirements and complaints procedures.

The Board of Infrasafe will review this policy on at least an annual basis or when circumstances change that may affect our policy.
