Responsibilities will include:
- Safety Critical roles on the Tyne & Wear Metro system including OHL Second Man, Lookout and Worksite Controller.
- Safety critical roles on Network Rail infrastructure including possession support, Lookout and COSS staff.
Candidates should be able to meet the following minimum requirements:
Qualifications
- Minimum Network Rail PTS
- Desirable: Network Rail additional competencies including COSS
- Nexus competencies including PTS
- Emergency First Aid
Experience
- The company is seeking early retired/semi-retired individuals looking for flexible working and the opportunity to ‘top up’ their pensions.
- We also need experienced rail staff competent up to COSS level. A Nexus PTS competency and Emergency First Aid at Work qualification would be desirable but not essential.
